Aníbal Barco (MX, 1987) es realizador audiovisual y fotógrafo; ha colaborado para medios impresos y digitales como Gatopardo, El País, Chilango, Bloomberg, entre otros.
Como cineasta ha dirigido fotografía para diversos cortometrajes documental y ficción entre los que destacan Las desaparecidas, ganador al Ariel en la 62a entrega 2020 de la AMACC (Academia Mexicana de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas) y seleccionado oficial en el 16° FICM (Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia 2018). Quedan los días, galardonado en Crossing the Screen International Film Festival 2018 y seleccionado oficial en el 20° GIFF (Festival Internacional de Cine de Guanajuato 2017).
Como director cinematográfico fue acreedor al estímulo PECC - IMCINE para Líneas Argumentales en 2018 y Desarrollo en 2019 por su ópera prima documental 20 años de espera. A lo largo del 2020 fue beneficiario del programa Fonca - Jóvenes Creadores en la especialidad de Video.
En 2022 formó parte de la 14° Generación Talents Guadalajara dentro del marco del 37° FICG (Festival Internacional de Cine de Guadalajara 2022).

Aníbal Barco (MX, 1987) is a filmmaker and photographer whom has worked for print and digital media such as Gatopardo, El País, Bloomberg, Hemispheres, among others.
He has been Director of Photography for different non-fiction and narrative short films such as: We Vanish, winner of the Ariel Award for Best Narrative Short Film trusted by the AMACC (Mexican Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences), and selected at the 16th FICM (Morelia International Film Festival 2018). And We Stood Still, awarded at Crossing the Screen International Film Festival 2018, and selected at the 20th GIFF (Guanajuato International Film Festival 2017).
As a film Director he has been supported by IMCINE (Mexican Film Institute) - PECC grants within Líneas Argumentales (2018) and Desarrollo (2019) programs for his feature documentary debut Belongings. Throughout 2020 he earned Fonca - Jóvenes Creadores fellowship within Video category.
In 2022 he was alumni of the 14th Generation - Talents Guadalajara in under the 37th FICG (Guadalajara International Film Festival 2022).
